The signing comes on the heels of Furrey's injury-shortened season that saw the 31-year-old total just 18 receptions for 181 yards in nine games for Detroit.

Just three seasons ago with the Lions, Furrey had a banner year as he caught 98 passes for 1,086 yards and six touchdowns.

Over his six seasons in the pros, three with St. Louis and three with Detroit, he has totaled 198 catches for 2,128 yards and seven touchdowns.
